We’re ten(ish) people sharing a house in Redwood City. Our goal is to create a fun, chill, affordable place for people to live and get along. Oh, and, we have a cat.
About the House
McMansion is a four-bedroom, four-bathroom house on Edgewood Road in Redwood City, CA. We’ve got some pretty great amenities.
Outside we have a pool, hot tub, sauna, garden, and some great areas to sit and read (or smoke that devil’s lettuce).
Inside, we have a great kitchen (with a couch in it!), a little gym and workshop in the garage, and a great big projector for watching movies together (or playing Super Smash Bros.)
There’s a big drive-way and ample parking.

About the People
People here come from all walks of life – Some folks from the service industry, some tech folks, a handful of students, and occasionally the world traveler in need of somewhere to stay for a month or two. But it’s not really about the occupation, is it? We are musicians, gamers, comedians, runners, outdoorsmen, indoorsmen, dungeon masters, entrepreneurs, and – most importantly – friends.
Even though it’s 2024, it’s still worth saying – We’re queer friendly!

Rooms & Rent
You may have done the math already – Ten people, four rooms… Yep! We share rooms. For $850, you get a spot in a shared room (which includes plenty of room for your stuff), and access to all those sweet, sweet amenities mentioned before.
Each month, each housemate also puts $350 into a community fund, which will cover groceries, electricity, and everything else.
